We have had a fantastic week in Pre School.  On Tuesday the parents were invited in to the classroom.  We have been learning about the lifecycle of a butterfly and reading the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  The children were able to help their parents create a very special caterpillar, which will turn into a ‘very grassy caterpillar’, and a colourful butterfly to hang in the window.  
 

On Thursday we had a visit from Safari Pete, wth some amazing animals.  The children learnt so much, including how the animals were rescued,  what they eat and what countries they came from.  They had to go on a ‘safari’ hunt and find the giant spider, the snake and the frog which were all wandering around the outside area!.
