A Tudor Day for Year Five
Good morrow to thee, how farest thou?” This was how our Year Five pupils were greeted on Monday during their trip to Kentwell Hall. Kentwell was transformed into a 16th Century Manor, with 75 costumed characters bringing Tudor England to life. The hands on activities included baking, music making and preparing herbal remedies. The children fully immersed themselves in the sights, sounds and smells of daily life at that time. The Year Five team were so impressed with how the pupils had prepared for their role as a working class peasant Tudor child.
